Mr. and Mrs. Rivera

Abraham Rivera, Sr., 89, of Bono, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 1999. He was a retired Spanish Baptist minister who actively served the Spanish-speaking community. Rev. Rivera was originally from Gorie, Texas, and came to Ohio in 1954 with his family and worked for the Nickel Plate Railroad until his retirement.

Rev. Rivera now follows his beloved wife Rafaela, who passed away in October of 1998. Surviving are his sons, Frank Alanis, Isaac, Edward, Felipe, Abraham Jr., and John Rivera; daughters, Tina Thompson and Lydia Herrera. Rev. Abraham Rivera was a great-great-grandfather, followed by many grandchildren, too many to name but who loved him so as Apa Rivera.
